GRAND OPENING VINACS CAM RANH AIR CATERING FACILITY AT CAM RANH INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

On May 12th 2017, Grand opening ceremony of the catering facility of VINACS Cam Ranh Air Catering Services (A member of Vietnam Air Catering Services) was officially organized at the head office at Cam Ranh International Airport.
The in-flight catering factory at Cam Ranh International Airport is the second factory of VINACS’s in-flight catering facility projects at international airports along Vietnam. This is the next step to make the strategy to affirm the biggest in-flight catering in Vietnam and one of the biggest in-flight catering companies in the regional area.  
At the ceremony, VINACS was honored to welcome Leaders, Former leaders of Khanh Hoa Province, Leaders of Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, Leaders of Middle Airports Authority, Leaders of Airport Corporation of Vietnam, Leaders of Cam Ranh International Airport and other guests from authorities, companies at Cam Ranh International Airport; especially with the presence of General Representatives, General Directors and representatives of nearly 30 airlines both from domestic and international.
Giving the opening speech at the ceremony, Mr. Doan Trong Tien – Director of VINACS Cam Ranh expressed his warmest welcome and gratitude to all distinguished guests attending the great opening ceremony. After 11 months, since approved by Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam and started construction from May 2016, all of the items and the whole project have been completed with the best efforts. The catering facility when operating would be capable of producing over 10,000 meals a day; creating nearly 150 jobs for local workers.

According to the general development strategy of VINACS, same as the catering facility at Noibai International Airport, VINACS Cam Ranh was designed and invested professionally with modern technological product-lines which completely built-up and imported from developed countries to optimize the processes of production. Besides, VINACS Cam Ranh:
- Has been examined and granted licenses to put into operation by Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam,
- Has been trained Halal awareness and audited by Malaysia Halal Consultation & Training Agency to certify HALAL kitchen and Halal certificates for all staff,
- Has been inspected fire protection system, completed and been approved environment affect judgment, granted license of waste water into water system,
- Has built quality management system according to ISO 22000,
- All catering trucks and vans have been granted licenses to access restricted area of the airport by Middle Airports Authority,
- Organized for all employee to take part in training courses, including Food hygiene and Food Safety, Occupational Health & Safety and Fire Safety according to the law.
- Trained employee operating aviation ground handling equipment, vehicles in restricted area at airport.
Continuing the opening ceremony, on behalf of authorities, Mr. Vo Huy Cuong - Deputy General Director of Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam delivered his speech to strongly congratulate the opening ceremony of VINACS Cam Ranh. He also emphasized that the establishment of VINACS would bring airlines at Cam Ranh International Airport one more option of the high quality products and services at international standard and strongly believe on the rapid development of VINACS, and on the contribution of VINACS to the development of international airports throughout Vietnam.

On behalf of airlines, Mr. Shaykhitdinov Roman – Chief Representative of Aeroflot in Ho Chi Minh City gave his speech of congratulations on the opening of VINACS and expressed his full confidence in the sustainable development of VINACS with its experienced managers, chefs and staff, with its modern technologies and production lines together with its advanced quality management systems. He also believed that VINACS shall become reliable partner of Aeroflot and other airlines in the coming time.

Responding to the congratulations of representatives of authorities and airlines, Mr. Duong Tien Nghia - Chairman of VINACS Cam Ranh expressed his sincere appreciation to Ministry of Transport, Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, Local authorities, Middle Airport Authority, Cam Ranh International Airport that have created all favorable condition to support VINACS to complete its job. At the same time, Mr. Duong Tien Nghia also appreciated all bid tenderers, contractors that directly participated in the construction, equipment installation, project management consultancy, monitoring consultancy, financial institutions for funding the project and especially the utmost effort and solidarity of the whole employee of VINACS.

Following the response, Leaders of VINACS, representatives of authorities and airlines altogether coming to the stage to perform the cutting ribbon protocol of VINACS catering facility at Cam Ranh International Airport.
After the ribbon cutting protocol, all distinguished guests were introduced on a kitchen tour to all technologies and production lines and altogether joined a warm cozy party performed by its VINACS chefs and staff on its production lines and technologies.

The opening ceremony of VINACS Cam Ranh ended with rhapsody from both honored guests and people of VINACS. All with promise to meet again at VINACS ground breaking ceremony at Da Nang International Airport and Phu Quoc International Airport in the third quarter of 2017; all with hope for full cooperation in the coming time.
